Well, no photos, they all started chewing into it before I asked about photos & they just looked at me like a pack of Meercats. I had some cabbages from the garden that needed harvesting so I took them with some ground beef, spices, tomatoes, garlic, onions, & peppers from the garden & put them altogether in the crock pot, after browning the beef in the Wok, to cook slow all day long while in the field. I know its not smoking & drinking & I know it does not fit the weather at all, but it sure was good & put those vegetables to good use too.

calldoctoday Hey, what you did was perfect for handling the day ahead. Doing the same old thing over and over with no deviation is BORING. Using what you created from the earth is just a bit of “oh heck yes”. I’ve found out that only very few people can do what you did without an exact recipe and follow it to a T ONLY. This old boy supports people who just know how to “create” goodness. Palm forward, reach over shoulder and give yourself a pat on the back. 🙂

zbigjeff Thank You, I really appreciate that & it was comforting too, hot or cold weather. Course, part of that was the problem too. Margaret asked me exactly what I had put in it all & I told her, but I did not measure anything, I just put it in & I guess I got lucky.

Did this a while back. Anyone feel nostalgic for a little SOS. I was craving this one day. Decided to use mashed taters instead of toast.

zbigjeff Thank you. We are going to chew on those cabbages & ground beef for another day. It is delicious & the flavor & spice is just right with the homegrown peppers, cabbage (they are so nice & dense & full of flavor compared to the grocery store), tomatoes, there is nothing like fresh elephant garlic, not to mention all the other homegrown veggies. I wish I could say the beef was homegrown too, but sadly it is not.

@dennyo It does have a size limit and you will have to resize them.
