Yesterday morning: ham egg and cheese sliders using Hawaiian rolls. There is a cream cheese and Dijon mustard spread on the sandwiches. The eggs are from our ducks. Wish I could say the same about our ham but that’s from the deli. The wife found this recipe. Simple to put together and tasty.

We just made some homemade basic pizzas, nothing fancy. Just wait until FAT Tuesday…

HerbcoFood If those are your basics, I’m tuning in on Fat Tuesday. Can’t wait to see the upgraded pizza. I’d devour those.

wdaly By basic I meant it’s your standard toppings. Not as if you went to a higher end pizza place where they get really fancy with toppings.

RafterW Was this one of the baked versions where you slice tops off a whole pack, add fillings, cover top in butter mixture and bake till all melted? It looks killer!

Jamieson22 Yes that is correct. Melted butter and “everything” bagel seasoning go on top and then it hits the oven for about 15 minutes until top is crispy and interior is melty.

glen those CI little corn molds are great too. They are also convenient if you are making them for get togethers and want individual portions. That is one piece of CI my Mom had that I don’t have. I believe my sister wanted it for a wall decoration.

kyle its pretty easy. I’ve seen it made many ways with various recipes. Like most food and drink it comes down to personal preference. I prefer plain corn bread for soups and stews without adding other ingredients like jalapenos and or cheese. I do like adding stuff if it is more of a side to be eaten on its own. My biggest personal preference is making it in a CI skillet vs a baking dish. I prefer the nice browned crust instead of the cake like texture. If you like ill send the recipe I use.
