glen those CI little corn molds are great too. They are also convenient if you are making them for get togethers and want individual portions. That is one piece of CI my Mom had that I don’t have. I believe my sister wanted it for a wall decoration.
GWG8541 Maybe she’d let you borrow it from time to time if you promised to give her a batch! Assuming she is close by.
I bet ours is in or basement somewhere, may have to de-rust it LOL -
kyle its pretty easy. I’ve seen it made many ways with various recipes. Like most food and drink it comes down to personal preference. I prefer plain corn bread for soups and stews without adding other ingredients like jalapenos and or cheese. I do like adding stuff if it is more of a side to be eaten on its own. My biggest personal preference is making it in a CI skillet vs a baking dish. I prefer the nice browned crust instead of the cake like texture. If you like ill send the recipe I use.
GWG8541 I would also be interested in your cornbread recipe
. It looks great

Yesterday morning: ham egg and cheese sliders using Hawaiian rolls. There is a cream cheese and Dijon mustard spread on the sandwiches. The eggs are from our ducks. Wish I could say the same about our ham but that’s from the deli. The wife found this recipe. Simple to put together and tasty.

RafterW Bloody Mary on the side?

We just made some homemade basic pizzas, nothing fancy. Just wait until FAT Tuesday…

HerbcoFood good looking pies

RafterW Hawaiian rolls are the best I like bacon egg and cheese the best but ham is my second choice and those look really good
gus4416 My go to breakfast meat for sandwiches is pork roll/Taylor ham. But I eat just about anything. Eventually will try to make homemade pork roll but not quite there yet.

RafterW nice looking sandwich. We enjoyed our duck eggs, sure do miss them. They made some of the best whipped whites.

Tried out the Chicken On the Run marinade and coating. Baked the chicken and it turned out good, I bet it would have been even better deep fried. I like the coating because it is light and crunchy and has a nice flavor, the marinade kept the bird moist and tasty even after a 24 hr soak.
