Well, the upper crust steak houses have nothing on “DennyO’s Smokey Bones” . I have a very unique and special steak for my bride.

It is a prime butterflied ribeye split at 1-1/4" each, reverse seared.

wdaly Thank you, I really appreciate that & it was. I did reverse seared T-Bones & Lobsters with asparagus & baked taters for Valentimes day. We are on the road all the remainder of the week, but I will try to post photos when we get back.

mrobisr One of our favorites is black currant wine, right up there with red currant.

I was motivated by Dr_Pain and his Valentines Day post. So tonight some homemade pizza with sour dough crust using my old starter. The sauce was a jar of Marinara I canned from last years tomatoes. Sautéed fresh mushrooms and onions. Browned a half pound of ground beef I ground from beef filet tail pieces. The pepperoni and salami was store bought, but good stuff. The cheese was a blend of shredded Mozz and some of my smoked Pepper Jack. I topped it off with my canned hot banana peppers from last year.

I made to much dough, so a second pizza was done in the carbon steel skillet. It did not have the ground beef or salami, just pepperoni with the veggies.

RON PARRISH thats great. I remember when my boys were that age and did the same. Now they are in their mid 20s and if they are both at the house its the same thing, except they also drink all my beer.

GWG8541 great looking pizzas. I grew up eating rectangular pizzas. I didn’t even know there was round pizzas until I was about 10!
