calldoctoday The chamber seems to work on everything. We use the Foodsaver on quick seal items that we are going to use fast and not have to worry about in the freezer. That was the worst thing we had with the Foodsaver bags, some tended to loose their seal over time in the freezer. I love the chamber sealer now that we have it, it is really versatile once you get the hang of it. Fast learning curve.

Dr_Pain Vacmaster VP215 found it for under 1K and shipped free. That was a year ago, price has probably gone up since they are foreign made

Just thought you all might like to see what one walnut tree will put out. We are really going nuts, literally. We have nuts drying under the deck, and in the basement, next to the pellet stove as well. We were drying them on the deck, but our pacific northwest weather has returned with rain and cold. Currently it’s 43 degree’s and pouring down rain here and snow in the mountains. IMG_0239.JPG IMG_0240.JPG IMG_0241.JPG

blackbetty61 You can use 1/4" or 1/8" hardware cloth to, just flatten it out and lay it on the grill. It cheap and zinc plated usually, lasts a long time when not exposed to heavy heat.

johnsbrewhouse That is amazing. When I was a little kid & we lived on the farm, we had a number of English Walnut trees. My Dad & I would crack them & load the back of his 39 pickup (it may have been a 34) several times & take them to the bakery. That was a whole lot of cracking & delivering.

blackbetty61 It is an interesting idea, we used cheese puffs a while ago in the |Nacho-Cheese-Flavored-Jerky-Snack-Stick-Seasoning and it was good but messed with the texture too much. I will add cheese-its to the list of Will It BBQ
