I’d like a physical cookbook. I would think waltons would be able to market it with some success. You wouldn’t have to go overboard with branding it as meatgistics users recipes, it could be a “waltons customers cookbook” and just credit the recipe author with their meatgistics handle or something.

Pick your major categories and vote on user recipes, agreed.

cdavis I would guess it would mainly be the members that are interested, and it would have similar sentimental value to the church cookbooks back in the day.

Ridley Acres My only argument against it being a “reward” is that it probably should be accessible to everyone and I don’t want a mix of buy/reward thing because that waters down the value of the reward. Chef No worries on it being too complicated, I mean, it definitely will be complicated but it is good job security to keep my guys busy! We have a graphics manager who does all of our catalogs and ads so he would be a natural for this.

Sounds like everyone should get their recipes in to be published. I can see a volume 2 in a few years. Jonathan you might want to have the person doing this put a bookmark on the last recipe published so it would be easy to start a new volume.

What a great idea maybe the profits could go to teaching kids to hunt fish and trap that might help change this world to when I grew up it was a better place then

What about just making the recipes printable. Put a waltons watermark on them. That way you can print the pages of a particular subject you want. Plus you could add to your personal “cookbook” by printing other threads, university topics, etc. You would be able to add new recipes as the get added to the site. Any thoughts.

I think that it should be kept in a digital online format then members can print what the want , I myself print recipes out and hang them on a cupboard door by the kitchen island on a stick on hook where I do the bulk of the processing and cooking prep work

If you make a printed and bound version, I will buy it. I like physical cookbooks.
