Yep. We are allocated 99cs a month. It’s gone within a week just on back orders. Our retailers typically get one case apiece. Luckily I know what stores are getting it.

A possible stampede on the way.

A rare occurrence up this way.

PapaSop good purchase. Definitely need two of those in case one has a leak and disappears

PapaSop I don’t even pay attention to that stuff unless it somehow ends up in my lap. I did know when BT somehow became popular some liquor stores started to lock it up. Weird seeing middle tier whiskey locked up with the high end stuff.

Had to add some items to the Arsenal yesterday and looked at the calendar and saw that it was getting to be Oktoberfest time. So I just had to pick up a few things to celebrate Oktoberfest and good harvest we got from our garden and still coming!Boubon 83021 1.jpg Oktoberfest Beer1.jpg

Bob Stehlik The Uncle Nearest is a pretty good Tennessee sour mash. I haven’t had the other 3 bourbons. Let me know how they are.

I don’t care for that stuff, I get why some people like it from a craze standpoint. When you are the distillery turning out all those boutique bourbons you’d think your own brand would be solid stuff.

Yep. 15 years ago it sat and collected dust. Same with Blantons, Eagle Rare, Weller and on and on.

Went into the arsenal and pulled out Smooth Ambler 100 proof Wheated Bourbon to enjoy on the porch last night while puffing on a cigar. I’m no tasting expert. But, to me, it has a hint of cherry and is very smooth for a 100 proof bourbon with one ice cube. Here’s hoping everyone else had a good evening and a better morning.smooth ambler wheated bourbon 9-2-21.jpg

zbigjeff That is usually my method of choice, one ice cube which I sometimes pull out if I feel I’ve hit the “sweet spot”

We do carry that brand but have never tried it. Pretty slow mover.

On a different note, new Walton’s catalog arrived today. May call for something on the rocks while paging through. I may be old fashioned, but still like catalogs. Probably why I still get the newspaper. Online is great, but…

Popped a new bottle tonight. It brings the heat at 107, but has a good caramel flavor.

GWG8541 I’ve had a couple other EB products. But, never that one in the pic. If it’s like the rest, there’s always a place on my shelves for their items. Drink well.

We do carry that brand but have never tried it. Pretty slow mover.

On a different note, new Walton’s catalog arrived today. May call for something on the rocks while paging through. I may be old fashioned, but still like catalogs. Probably why I still get the newspaper. Online is great, but…

PapaSop Re Slow Mover: Shhhhhhhh. If the chasers get ahold of it, it will become extinct. Look what has happened when they even go on a social rampage for middle tier liquor.
