Pichana cap off, reverse seared over charcoal and oak chunks on the PK 360 with homemade chimichurri sauce, grilled zucchini from the garden and smashed potatoes with Chipotle-Garlic Mayo dressing. The Pichana was seasoned with Guacho Steakhouse Rub. kyle zucchini grilled raw

Amazing. Love some good chimichurri. The big question is, Cilantro or parsley only? I know traditional is just parsley, but sometimes that cilantro twist is nice. Either way looks delicious! Enjoy.

kyle Triple D is definitely a place to pick up ideas and improve your creativity and enhance your adventures with food. I’ve tried several things with different spices or herbs as well as learning a ton of things about regional and different ethnic styles of cooking and food preparation. Andrew Z. and Marcus Samuelson also expose some good ideas from different locales and regions. So in summary you are not alone in your search for something new and different.

Bob Stehlik Triple D is definitely great inspiration
Having said that I talked my wife into going to a triple D restaurant on two separate trips and tried a featured dish at each place, total disappointment, was nothing like the show, half the size, dry with little flavor
Now when I am watching and she comes into the room she rolls her eyes and says never again. LOL

glen The wife and I rarely go out to eat. We prefer to cook and eat at home; #1, You can cook to your individual taste and use some creativity; #2 the portions are tailored more to our liking and you get left overs! Now don’t get me wrong, when we go on vacation or on a road trip we will try an area restaurant upon recommendations from people in the area.

glen You can tell when a dish is made he really doesn’t like it, you gotta watch his first reaction then he will play it off. But Guy chooses all the dishes they cook for him.

I also take ideas from stuff that is made on the show.

Pork tenderloin x2. One Asian style, one rubbed and wrapped (but bacon all fell off while cooking). And a Portabella mushroom steak in the grill pan as an afterthought.

On the left wrap in foil is Bloody Mary Excalibur Meatloaf soaked in New Amsterdam Vodka with onion and brussel sprout seasoning mix. Independence Day Dinner.

Used local to El Dorado, KS. Walnut Valley Packing ground beef. Took about 45-50 minutes on the grill and was excellent. Used Sweet Baby Rays Sweet and Spicy BBQ sauce for the frosting.

On the right is Dillon’s pre made to grill potatoes. Was not a fan of those. Ended up air frying some tater tots for the kids instead of the potatoes.
