What does everyone do for a profession?
-
I’m always curious what everyone does for a profession in these groups. It is always cool to see how diverse we are. I am a State Trooper and have been since 2007. Prior to that I worked many years in home construction and taught second grade right out of college.
I am a robotic/minimally invasive surgeon. Currently doing mostly general surgery like appendix, gallbladders, bowel resection, hernia repair, etc. As well as being father of a 7, 5, and 3 year old. Hard to find much time to myself but I think it’s important to make some and when I do I really enjoy cooking and such. Plus a mans gotta eat.

Surg that sounds like a neat job!

Wasted 28 years trying to protect our Southern Border. Now it seems it was all for nothing. Thank God I retired before we became daycare workers instead of enforcement.
dino21 no not a waste. You were trained and paid to do a job under different rules and circumstances than today. Frustrating? Yes. But a person doesn’t waste their time/life by doing the job at parameters they are given and then one day changed. Thank you for your service.

Surg I think that is a pretty interesting and challenging profession. Technology constantly changing along with changes in procedures. It looks like someone tricked you into pushing the
