I’m using PLA for now. I want to get it setup to do PETG, but this machine isn’t the best suited for that right out of the box.

I got v3 printed last night. Dunno if I will get a chance to mess with it this weekend or not.

The fit is pretty good. A little tight, but I might be able to run it without any legs.

pr0wlunwoof Remarkable. I need a new toy, but my wife would say that it was a distraction to the projects I need to complete. She’s probably right!

Chef My wife would agree. I’ve been making toys for our 2 year old daughter so I catch a bit of a break with her. We have been contemplating getting one at work to print out custom brackets for specific installs we have to do so I’m killing allot of birds with 1 stone. I am actually thinking about buying a second one and customizing it to print specific materials.

Im using fusion360. I have watched several Youtube videos and have been able to do the basic things. All in not too hard. Figuring out how to navigate the menus and hotkeys was about the hardest part. Setting up the 3d printers the way I have them took a little IT know how, but I am very proficient when it comes to that side of things. All in its pretty fun. I have somehow wound up with 3 printers… So yeah theirs that 😉

pr0wlunwoof I’m interested in the cost as well. Also, what printer brand and model are you using? This is just too cool to not try. The range in cost of the printers are great. What factors should one consider when getting a 3D printer? Thanks
