pr0wlunwoof So I am not a star trek fan but I hear them brought up often in regards to a “post-scarcity” society, this 3-D printing is a huge step in the journey to that! You’ll have to let us know how this goes!

Well. I finally got my design down to where I think I can print without any support material. Here we go. V1 printing atm. T-minus 24 hours

Chef Here it is after a couple of hours. I don’t have enough filament for this one to finish, but thats ok I really just wanted to print it to see if its going to fit over the grinder hopper.

At this point I can tell I am going to make the walls much thinner as the majority of it is infill material anyways.

I’m using PLA for now. I want to get it setup to do PETG, but this machine isn’t the best suited for that right out of the box.

I got v3 printed last night. Dunno if I will get a chance to mess with it this weekend or not.

The fit is pretty good. A little tight, but I might be able to run it without any legs.

Chef My wife would agree. I’ve been making toys for our 2 year old daughter so I catch a bit of a break with her. We have been contemplating getting one at work to print out custom brackets for specific installs we have to do so I’m killing allot of birds with 1 stone. I am actually thinking about buying a second one and customizing it to print specific materials.
