So, I took Thursday and Friday off from work! I needed it, needed a little bit of time away to try to recharge my battery a little and do some stuff around the house. I had been hoping to spend most of that time working on the house with my wife but her plant was plagued with issues, so we got to spend a little less time together than I had hoped. Ate too much, had a few drinks and slept in (7 am!) every day!

I have trouble doing nothing for more than a few hours and we wanted to do some upgrades to the house, so we decided to make up for not doing anything on the outside of the house for the last 2 years by redoing the front landscaping.

Jonathon really nice looking yard and landscape! That looks like a ton of work you’ve done, beautiful, congrats. My yard got destroyed by a gopher army, the gopher guy I finally hired last week counted about 100 mounds.

Jonathon All looking good, wish I had a three stall garage and pond out back. Can’t ever have enough garage space and my dogs would have loved that pond.

Jonathon Are those parking spots there so people have a place to park to access the green space? Or are you really OCD about people parking in your driveway?

Looks great! I also did some work in the garden beds at my house this year that I had been neglecting. I planted 105 bulbs of various flowers and laid down 40 bags of garden soil and 30 bags of mulch over a period of four days. After the last day I could barely walk after using muscles that had not been used for a long time. There’s a great sense of satisfaction after it’s completed!

Jonathon looks great. Is that an eastern redbud tree? Just found out recently that you can actually eat the flowers off those.

That small white coffin still stands out… A couple more shrubs should totally conceal it. I’m guessing a shark tomb? 😉🤔😂

Jonathon That looks really nice. I hope you all got some nice R&R to go with it.
Oh, & thank YOU for the shirt. Margaret says I am going to have to buy a whole lot more Walton’s stuff & make a whole lot more jerky, brats, & sausages, not to mention smoking meats to be able to fill that shirt. Really nice though. I will be proud to display & wear it. Thank You. Glad you had a nice vacation, very nice place.
