HerbcoFood That commute is a huge plus. You don’t have to deal with the asshats on the road.

bocephus I use only mineral oil. It does not go rancid over time, which all oils in cooking tend to do.
Since this is bamboo, it will take several applications to penetrate since the bamboo is less porous than other woods. No rush, just a light coating when you use and wash the board.

Dr_Pain It has its pluses and negatives, but yes much easier not to have to worry about driving anywhere.

Chef Oh once you order something he sends you a card with your “member” number on it. It’s more for fun, there aren’t any meet ups or discussion boards.
He does pretty good work and this is his busiest time of year for sure. His biggest seller are the whiskey flight trays.
