PatrickB Are you using an unusually high amount of seasonings for video purposes?

I think they are going for full coverage to prevent being censored. You would hate to have some exposed meat LOL!
I know that the blacken seasoning goes on full coverage but was wondering the same “HMmmmm that’s a lot of seasoning!!”

That rosemary dijon look like some supple stuff, I am actually making french fries this weekend but there won’t be enough time to get it here in time. When I saw it as a dipping sauce I really perked up.
PatrickB who is the hand and mouth model?
Side not on the burger: who put’s the cheese that far from the hot meat?!?!?!?! I imagine there was a reason for that.
-
Tex_77 Yeah, many things had to be twice so there was a lot of over seasoning, especially on the lamb. Probably the amount of seasoning that Austin would prefer but us normal people felt a little overwhelmed. HerbcoFood so that was part of a shot Patrick nailed with dropping the burger and it looked AMAZING, but you could see the metal spike he had used to keep everything together. Also, that burger was NOT hot at the time of shooting that shot. Still, JohnG5 made the burgers and they were great. It is a mix of John or I as the hand models. I have fairly fat hands with at least a few cuts or scrapes on them at all times so I normally try to wear a glove for any videos that will have close-ups of them to not distract from what we are show-casing

Thanks Jonathon I figured it had to do with something like that.

Tex_77 I don’t season and film lol that’s one of the Jons and their heavy hands, but yeah we’ll go with for video purposes haha
PatrickB Seasoning at that rate, it would get pretty expensive to eat. I realize you are working with a bunch of amateurs so you can only do so much.

HerbcoFood haha just noticed that myself. I did have a friend in the past say that he can taste cold cheese more so than warm cheese, anyone have a preference on that end?

I agree cheeses does taste different when they are warm and cold, just like wine, etc. I prefer melted cheese on burgers and I am actually slowly getting away from what some call rabbit food of my burgers. I will accept sautéed veggies, just getting away from them in the raw form if you will.

I have to say that I prefer cold cheese. Hot cheese just tastes oily unless you have a big slab (which I do often) then I want it on the meat to semi-melt

I do like some contrasting textures, so I do continue to put the rabbit food but it has to be the right proportion. Meat should be first!
