Meatgistics Podcast: Saved By the Bull!

GWG8541 my short time in Korea I discovered many styles of kimchi and learned that I really enjoyed it, my crew not so much,
. I haven’t tried bolut, but my brother has a Phillipino friend that makes them, might be worth a try. A buddy and I that crewed together over the years made it a point to get to know locals where we were. Those actions allowed us some some cultural insight, have some food stories, made some great acquaintanceships and had some interesting meals. Actually I think sometimes they were just trying to see at what point we would fold. Most of the time we just had a blast trying to communicate.YooperDog that sounds way to familiar. I was introduced to Bulgogi by Korean Marines at Mountain Warfare school in Pohang, along with lots of OB and Soju. In PI it took alot of alcohol to get the balut down. I would rather eat the grasshoppers again, than try the balut.

Jonathon I wish I would’ve took more video of him. We stayed at that site for 4 days. He was a bold and curious little bigger. He actually came and sat about 1 foot away from me for a while. It was cool to hear him crunching on little fish he would catch.

Jonathon this was a river otter that tried to steal are leech locker when we were on a canoe trip in northern MN. They are cool animals.
On another note about what you guys talked about, I got Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever from a tick about 5 years ago. That sucked!!!
ND Mike Otters are pretty cool and seem to have personality, we call muskrats swamp rats, they seem to be everywhere.

ND Mike Looking at your video I just want to get out of the office and find a nice little spot on a lake to hang out and watch the wildlife
Dr_Pain yeah I hear ya! It’s been 2 years since we have been to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I really miss it…
