What did everyone cook today?

Tex_77 Both the chicken strips and steak look great after spending some time in food heaven (aka: Hospital). Just got back to my humble abode for an extended marathon with my new fav toy (“the Walker”). Can’t wait to get back out there about mid July. Keep on salivating my taste buds.
zbigjeff We all hope you are doing well & recovering in good time from that surgery. Glad to see you back!

Tex_77 There you go.

Grimpuppy I have been wanting something like that.

Tex_77 Those are some mighty fine looking strips! What oil did you use?
-
calldoctoday You are correct. I just saw it the other day. Blue Ribbon Reduced Salt It’s on my list.
badfire2625 Well, I guess I have not totally lost my mind then, yet…

Great looking dish. I’m sure you enjoyed it. -
Been craving blue claw crab since the podcast, unfortunately my seafood shop was sold out. So I went with 100 middle necks.
Split the first 50 with the in laws on the half shell. Sorry no pics hands were dirty from shucking.
Second 50 hit the grill with butter, lime, garlic, and parsley.

Jonathon That’s a lot of “dot” work. I’ve never accomplished that. The baker in the family made some of those types. I only transported the finished product. Great work.

calldoctoday It’s all about one day at a time and steady as she goes. It will just be a long road and glad to be at least sitting in a desk chair for a short time.

Barbacoa tacos, pinto beans and cilantro lime rice.

Tex_77 comfort food waiting to disappear.
