Tex_77 no worries about it getting used up, I just thought it would be cool if I was partaking in the birthday festivities without actually being there. Happy Birthday to the kiddo

lkrfletcher Lucky You! Congratulations. You still have a heavy hunt ahead of you though, so I don’t mean to understate that. I hope someday I can figure out a way to do that too.

calldoctoday Hey, what you did was perfect for handling the day ahead. Doing the same old thing over and over with no deviation is BORING. Using what you created from the earth is just a bit of “oh heck yes”. I’ve found out that only very few people can do what you did without an exact recipe and follow it to a T ONLY. This old boy supports people who just know how to “create” goodness. Palm forward, reach over shoulder and give yourself a pat on the back. 🙂

zbigjeff Thank you. We are going to chew on those cabbages & ground beef for another day. It is delicious & the flavor & spice is just right with the homegrown peppers, cabbage (they are so nice & dense & full of flavor compared to the grocery store), tomatoes, there is nothing like fresh elephant garlic, not to mention all the other homegrown veggies. I wish I could say the beef was homegrown too, but sadly it is not.

Ok, I received an error for all three pics, 4.39MB, 5.66MB, 4.9MB. Does this site have a limit and no auto resize?

@dennyo It does have a size limit and you will have to resize them.

I don’t know if there’s a limit but I’ve run into that before. So now I always resize them before uploading and they always upload fine. On Android I use LitPhoto. Not sure if you’re using that or iOS but I would imagine there are similar apps available.

Make some CAB prime ribeyes last night. I seasoned them up using Derek Wolf’s Guacho Steakhouse Seasoning from Spiceology. It has one very unique ingredient in it and it is zucchini! The flavor turned out awesome. Also made some cheesy broccoli and grill potatoe wedges.

Tex_77 WHAT? You can put potato wedges right on the grill? Anything special you have to do to them first? Soak’em? Coat’em?? I’m planning some burgers with bacon seasoning & ht cheddar, along with grilled corn on the cob for Monday. Supplies just got here today. I’m super excited. Now I’m adding wedges. They look great tex_77.

I’m no Tex_77, but I do potato chunks on the grill fairly often. I usually toss mine in some olive oil and kosher salt first. I’ll use a non-stick grill mat (or a grill basket would work) to ensure there are no casualties.
