Tex_77 Thinking you were 1 degree off with the temp of the doneness of the burgers. 😊 😊 Yep, another great example of hail yes!

So today I bought 18 lbs of burger that was on sale and decided to try out 3 different burger seasoning packs I bought. Better burger, jalapeño patty, and mushroom patty. I enlisted my son to help and used the Walton’s burger patty machine and used the heck out of the chamber sealer. I should be stocked up for burgers for a while. The jalapeño patties have some bite to them! I like it!!!

Tex_77 Nice & Cheesy. we were going to do the same, but had leftovers from last night, so just sticking to that. Pretty hot today too in the low 90’s, so more fund for drinking than cooking, but I am still working on reports.

Joe Hell That is one fine looking burger. Sans the lettuce & just add more cheese, a few pickles, & the sauce, & it is perfect! Nice bun too.

calldoctoday I was disappointed that the pickles didn’t appear in the shot. Lol. It took me longer to set up the photo than it did to eat it.

Joe Hell I understand. I am not sure what to say about that. We are getting so deep into some of this & loosing the simplicity. Plus, I just like to eat good stuff like what you produced. Its kind of like those deer horns, etc. I never could find a way to eat them, soup, or anything. Same with the pictures, but I sure would like to chomp down on that real burger. Pardon all the random ranting, that burger looks great!

calldoctoday Understood. I’m into recreating ‘cheap’ burgers. Fancy burgers are great but there is something about American cheese and ‘special’ sauce that is Americana on a bun

Joe Hell Absolutely. I just really like to keep them simple, pure good beef, lots of cheese, sauce or mayo & ketchup (Mustard only on dogs & brats) & a pickle or two. Don’t get me wrong, I have tried some fancy combinations, but I always go back to the simple one, I just like it.
