I was one of those guys who always said the cost of hunting for your meat would never be cheaper than going to the store. I may have to eat my words. Come on, deer season!

processhead I jokingly told my neighbor if it ever got too bad we could eat the Geese on our pond, that led to a question to a local cop who informed me that as the police station is within about 1000 yards of my house they would absolutely hear even my little .22 magnum henry rifle. So, I would NEVER do it (as it is illegal) BUT they do sell casting nets that can also be used to catch other things. Well, I now own one such net.

Craig rice https://therevelator.org/pfas-ocean-wildlife/ from this article “Once in the ocean, PFAS can persist for decades or longer — and travel long distances. As a result, a growing body of scientific research suggests that marine wildlife are accumulating dangerous amounts of “forever chemicals.”” I don’t know a ton about this, and I am sure it is a bad thing but is the term forever a misnomer or is this article phrasing this poorly?

Also seems like some of the uses for these are somewhat needed like fire retardant sprays for firemen and some are sort of convenience things we could easily do without like non-stick pans and stuff.

Craig Rice Sadly to say, from some things I have seen, we are afraid to eat some of the things we have seen around our place. That really gets me irritated so I better stop while I am ahead.

Jonathon you are just full of good news. Time to invest in another freezer and an additional b/u power supply.
