Broiled rack of lamb, fresh brussels sprouts blackened with home made bacon, and baked potato.

Side note: If my Mom had fixed brussels sprouts with bacon when we were growing up, I would have had a completely different opinion about that vegetable . I hated them then, and love them now.

Lamb is one of those foods that people seem to love or hate. It was kind of our traditional Easter meal when I was a kid, and my Dad did the preparation and cooking.
I think lamb really works well in Indian and Mediterranean and Middle-eastern style dishes.

processhead It’s better now when you learned the trick. Our parents didn’t have all of the resources we do now and only knew what they heard at parties or on the party lines. 🙂

processhead that looks outstanding. Brussel sprout recipe sounds good too. Like you, I was put off sprouts as a kid for most of my life until recently. We only ever had them boiled from the garden 😞

Deepwoodsbutcher Nice variety, perfect grilling appearance. My wife would go crazy over those, chicken thighs along with pork steaks are her favorite meats

glen We don’t eat much chicken, but I think thighs are the best part too.

Deepwoodsbutcher Looks delicious. Our favorite part of the bird. Very versatile cut of the chicken. We just picked up about 10 pounds of thighs @Sam’s Club last week.

Bob Stehlik got mine from Sam’s too… 99 cents a pound was a pretty good deal. Pretty cheap way to experiment with some new rubs.
