Listen along as Jon tries out a raw meat diet, for the episode at least. He consumes three different raw proteins and gives a full report on his instant reaction and his feelings the next day. Plus, some pretty exciting meat matters topics to round it out. I hope you enjoy it as much as Jon did!

PatrickB One of the episodes of Rotten on Netflix covered the chicken industry, it’s pretty wild how slim of margins the independent growers have.

FYI I ate another uncooked steak that weekend. took half of one and cooked it and ate the other half so I could do a side-by-side comparison. I still prefer it cooked but this really changed my opinion on these people who eat raw meat. I think the “burst” I had halfway through the first part was from the liver. I am going to remember how that made me feel and I will be adding it to my diet more!

That was a very unique pod cast. Liked that you did the 24 hour follow up. Nice job guys.

When eating steak Tartar the ground is seasoned and mixed with a raw chicken egg yoke.

Jonathon just think of the trickle down economics of you eating raw meat! No use of seasoning and energy(coal, propane, cook top) to cook the meat, over time the savings will be in the dollars!!!

Plus you could start looking to local suppliers like the neighbors cats or dogs. Really cut out the middleman.
