Drink of Choice

It is supposed to be in the negative double digits tonight. Decided to pull out a bottle of some German schnapps, this one is pretty clean tasting, most are an acquired taste. It will warm you up.
YooperDog that sounds delicious on a cold day. I went out yesterday for muzzleloader and would have enjoyed that at the end of the day.

calldoctoday GWG8541 Begging doesn’t work around here for some reason. People are just sitting back watching both the snow and the bottle level fall at this time of year.

calldoctoday I can boast about doing the same thing. But, with Old Elk on ice. Just watching it flurry a bit with a strong wind. Isn’t it grand?

calldoctoday that sounds like a good combo. My only problem is I left my cider on the porch to cool down and discoverered it froze, so I’m waiting for the big thaw. An Irish coffee may be a substitute tonight.

zbigjeff can you keep the cold weather up in the north part of the state. I went out for muzzleloader yesterday and man was it cold. Setting outside in the teens used to be OK, but the bones seem to get colder as I get older.

GWG8541 There you go. My son heats it up a bit & it goes down real nice. Feels good when working up in this cold office.

Some how we ended up with them, opposed to the cases of tall boys we requested…you know the underage life!!!

I may date myself, but when we could manage to get beer from the package store, we got Mickey’s Big mouth. The short stubby bottles had a giant pull top. Hawaii had a legal drinking age of 18 at the time, so it wasn’t hard to get beer underage if you were close. We didn’t care to much for the local beer Primo since it was known best for it’s slogan “Hawaiian beer begins with P” and it seemed to live up to it.
