Veteran's Day

Although I am Canadian by birth, I wholeheartedly appreciate the sacrifice that all US veterans made to make this country the country I wanted to live in for the rest of my life. For all that are actively serving or retired from active duties

Dr_Pain I served with 3 Canadians doing military service in the USMC 1966-1970. That’s when I learned about gravy on French Fries–Poutine.

Dr_Pain I served four years with the Canadians at CFS Massett and CFS Alert. Probably my best tour!

Thank you Veterans!
-
Thanks and honor to all veterans many times over

Thank you for all you have done for this country and all you will be asked to do in the future! I have created the group US Veterans for anyone who wants to join, this way a badge will show on your posts. Sorry, we should have thought of creating this group years ago. We will have a 10% off coupon emailed to anyone who joins this group!
For everyone else, we rely on everyone’s honor to not claim something that isn’t yours.
Jonathon I haven’t been able to find the US Veteran group. Is it under users?
-
wdaly Users then go to groups, on the left there is a drop down, that shows Member Count, Creation Date, and group name. Pick Creation Date then you should be able to see the US Veteran group.
-
Thank you wholeheartedly!!!

-
Also, I will remove myself from the group as soon as someone joins it, it can’t be a group without 1 member.
Jonathon This is a great idea, thanks Waltons for showing appreciation for all who have served.

Just saw this group and looked to see who was a member. WOW Didn’t know we had so many veterans. THANK YOU for your service. In this day and age, we don’t honor our veterans as we should. We owe you much, more than could ever be repaid.
Thank you Walton for honoring them in this way.
-
Thank you to all who served at home and abroad. Thank you to your families as well. Here is a link to the group if you are having trouble finding it. https://meatgistics.waltonsinc.com/groups/u-s-veterans

We do know how to drink (if that was what you were referring to ROFL!)

Chef well, there are only 4 of us signed up for this group. I think there is confusion because there was a recent group created called “veteran” for Meatgistics user with I believe had more than 2 years. The Military Veteran group is “US Veteran”. Im not sure if its too late, but Jonathon JohnG5 could there be a name change to something like “Old Timers” to the Meatgistics “veterans” group to avoid this confusion moving forward?
