What did everyone cook today?
-

This is the making of a recipe I will share later this week. For the time being I am running a trivia game to see if someone could identify it from the ingredients in the pot
-
A little late night snack for me.

-
Made a couple of venison roasts. One in the smoker and one on the grill to see which one my family liked best. It was a toss up. They both turned out great.

Dr_Pain looks good.
Thanks! Trying to tweak my recipe for the general mass since we have a lot of locally readily available items that may not be available to others in different part of the country

cdavis Those look awesome man!

Sometimes ya lack inspiration, or just become tired of nearly two years of kitchen cooking…
Last night was that night for me. Meatball Sub literally thrown together. Just needed to stop for the crusty rolls at our favorite bakery.

cdavis those look great. I would devour either of them. Did you notice a difference in tenderness between the two?
-
Ribeye, reversed seared on my PK360, seared on grill grates, they were seasoned with salt and Spiceology Cowboy Crust seasoning.

Dr_Pain I used Waltons steak and roast shaker for both. That stuff is good

Getting ready to char me some animal flesh here shortly, namely three Ribeyes seasoned with Rocky Mountain Spice Company Steak and Burger Seasoning and a bit of
grill flavored powder
-
Jonathon thanks injected with pas black bull then coated with Waltons steak and roast rub then cooked to140 I T.
-
Unrolled a Wewalka Flat Crust Classic Pizza Dough and "customized it to our preferences. Dough is imported from… Austria! Since finding this product we’ve left our local pizza mongers in the dust. Saving a nice cache of cash in the bargain.

RedJim64 great looking pie. Congrats

GWG8541 cooked both to 140. The tenderness was about equal but I loved the smoke flavor the best. But the other was a close 2nd for me.

Tex_77 You have a great “supplier” of your cuts. Consistent and very good quality.

cdavis BTW: Just checking my “conversion per lb” for the Pa’s black bull. How much of Pa’s to ounces of water do you use for each pound of meat? Or is it more of an eyeball for the marinade? I just purchased Pa’s and am just verifying my calcs.
