Dr_Pain Darn you. I know I should’ve got the 4 instead if the 2. But, I think everyone is very happy with their very good but not cheap products.

I got the 4 over the 2 because with the discount of 10% for signing up as a new customer the difference was $26, about the cost of one probe

Ha. If it’s the only thing I wanted from them its days. As soon as my order ships. Nothing more disheartening than getting 10% off then getting an samspade2519@gmail.com a week later giving you 15

I just received an email from ThermoWorks. They are doing a 25% off flash sale on the Smoke Remote BBQ alarm thermometer. They also have 20% off on the Thermapen 1.

Yep. I have 2 thermapens, a time stick, a smoke, and a dot. Great products.

I have the Smoke 4x and this bad boy is plain awesome. I don’t know why it took me so long to make the purchase. My Thermapen is the best investment I’ve ever made. Not sure you need to spend the extra for the One. I think the MK4 on sale is a better value.

Idaho Smokey Go for the 4 channel. I kicked myself because I only got the 2. Reason: You can reverse sear 4 steaks to 4 different temps when company comes over. Don’t kick yourself for not choosing it.

So I pulled the trigger on a new meat thermometer and after listening to the many comments on here about the best ones I decided to go with ThermoWorks. Before I go and spend big bucks on a wireless one I thought I would try their ChefAlarm first. If it’s good I will move up to their dual probe models. Let me just say that right out of the box I feel this is well made. It doesn’t feel cheap like oh so many I have purchased from Amazon. I think I have a winner here. Thanks to all who replied to my question. I’m knew to this sight but I think I’m going to like reading all the posts and comments.

BubbaSmoke1963 You made a valued choice. There’s a reason that restaurants utilize that brand. Not cheap. But, good quality. Enjoy!!!
