Joe Hell I haven’t had the opportunity to to try Angels Envy yet, but I am looking forward to getting off lockdown and taking a bike ride to the big city and doing a shelf check at the big discount liquor stores. Selection is pretty slim up by me and a bit pricey.

YooperDog I’m 10 minutes from the Oregon border and make a weekly trip to find a new or old favorite. Liquor prices are 40-50% less than Washington and gas is far less too. It’s a no brainer.

Joe Hell and you don’t have to pump your own gas. Though Inreally hate someone else doing it.

skibumben last week they were allowing drivers to pump their own gas at the station I normally go to. The attendant on duty asked if I needed any assistance. I almost said “it’s ok, I’m from Washington.” I’m sure there were many from a Oregon that were confused by the process. Yesterday when I went back the attendants were once again doing the pumping.

I don’t understand the mandatory attendant pumping gas, not a complicated process.

A little of Makers Mark 46 to make it through Friday and help understand our gov’ a decision making. You can fish from your boat as long as it doesn’t have a motor, you can buy painting supplies, but you can’t buy paint, I could go on, but I don’t believe it myself.

Yes we have similar restrictions no alcohol or cigarettes are for sale of may be purchased, you may go shopping or to the doctor only, 1 person in a car with gloves and face mask. You cannot by the material or thread to make your own face mask? No take aways no restaurants or take aways open, hardware open as you say for essentials but not paint.
We were on lock down from March to 16 April then this was extended to end April not sire what is in store for us.
            Keep safe all

YooperDog thank you for helping me make a whiskey decision tonight…Makers 46 it is! There are certainly some whacky shut downs right now but it is what it is. Cheers to you all!

El Mayor tequila and some Wild Turkey 101 on a Sunday evening BBQ

With dinner a good dark spicey Cabernet sauvignon, Malbec, Zinfandel. A petite Sirah works well also. After dinner a good Port or late harvest wine. Just sitting around Any stout or porter and/or many other beers as long as its not coors light. Hot summer day its a gin and tonic with lemon.
