ND Mike glad to hear that you had a great time and made some awesome memories. I have family and friends up there and have spent time in AK. There is lots to see and do especially after the spring melt.

UPS or USPSglen yep when I worked for USPS both other services would pickup and drop off packages that we would push to the carriers and P/U packages to move to move along their systems.

Any quick responses?Jonathon that is a nice piece od hardware. I might just need to add a #12 to my inventory. I never really got my meat block to the emulsification level going through a grinder. I get it to what I call ‘country style’ and accept that until I can justify to CINC House the need.

Kabanosy - Polish snack stick w pork, nutmeg, carawayDave in AZ as kyle mentioned they do get better with some drying. Growing up the market would just have them hanging behind the counter drying. I prefer them dried a bit 5-7 days and stuffed in sheep casings but have made them in collagen

Ham: forgot to add cure#1! Recovery, and avoiding this mess up ;)Dave in AZ how ya gonna learn w/o making mistakes. I have done similar DA mistakes. I have an old round face scale and it has two scales on it, metric and the US. I have many lessons learned from not paying attention to the scale. Gone digital now and keep it around to remind me to pay attention to details.

Blackstone griddletwilliams my brother has some Blackstone appliances at his ranch and our son has a flattop. They are nice to cook on, but it I still prefer using cast iron on som coals. Call me old fashioned.

What did everyone cook today?kyle awesome thing to do for mom! If I knew how fast time goes I would have spent more time talking with my grandparents and dad. A lot questions go unanswered once they’re gone. Mom is still around and I am always asking questions trying to get to know her and her side of the family better.

What did everyone cook today?Dave in AZ looks pretty authentic. There are some pretty good places to eat in the Osan area. I am guessing a lot has changed since I was last there over a decade ago.

Great find! I think?!calldoctoday it would be tough convincing me to go electric, we had it when we lived in CA and wasn’t happy with cooking with it at all. My mom lives about 100 miles south of me and was all electric and she changed her direction after her first winter and converted to propane for heating but kept it for cooking and hot water. She is not a happy camper with that range and still may change

Great find! I think?!RafterW great find, you will be happy with set up. Get yourself a 500-1K lb pig and I bet that will last you at least a year before needing a refill. By us electric will run you to the poor house, no NG line for miles, we spend more for it than propane. I imagine things are different around different parts of the country.

What are you hunting/fishing?kyle nice tom! Our season ends end of May, I haven’t any time to do much of anything. Burning a lot of fossil fuel and tires. Congratulations!
