I think that this year i am going to donate some summer sausage willies snack sticks and some smoked cheese with mustard and crackers to the local homeless shelter

for anyone that has a dedicated space for processing we had our steel hanging from the celling from a rope that went through two pulleys to a weight ,then it could be pulled down ,used by all then raised up out of the way

PapaSop I have a 5 burner convection with extra oven space, propane ,will never go back to electric

some people would call us preppers but in reality I view it as I grew up with my grandparents who were born in the 1890 they were almost Mennonite grew a big garden raised cows an hogs we had berries of different types and nuts and fruit trees and everything was put up and used to feed us through the winter, my sister and I were 3 & 4 when we went to live with them looking back I wish that I had learned more at the time
