mrobisr I know I’m preaching to the choir, but I think it has gotten real for the soldiers in the Russian army as well. They have been taking plenty of casualties. Keep in mind that some also have family in Ukraine. It would be like the US and Canada going to war against each other. Both sides are suffering needlessly. I do not believe we should put boots on the ground in this, but because we failed to properly support an ally it could go that way in the future. The time to support your friends in time if war is before the first shot, not after it has started. I never thought I would see better leadership from NATO than the US, but it manifested itself last week.

I’ve got the water figured out already. mrobisr Cash probably isn’t a bad idea, though with inflation I am trying to diversify into other items. calldoctoday It was a different world. The old saying, Tough times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men crates tough times. I cannot believe I am a grumpy old man like this! “Back in my day we were REAL men, while this high schoolers do tik-tok dances!” seriously, I cannot believe this!

I was deployed in 1993 when the WTC bombing took place and unfortunately there were some ATM servers that got blasted in the process. There were three of us that ran together and only one of could get to his money, one buddy and me could not get to our money even though we were getting paid and that taught me a very valuable lesson on having cash on hand. Never again will that happen to me, just something to think about.

KenfromMI here in the UP it isn’t so bad, but I know down state in the traffic it can be challenging a bit. Up here it is more the wildlife and then the trucks pulling campers pulling boats trying to fit a weeks worth of vacation in three days. Looking forward to the season but probably won’t be getting out until mid May, for down state, late March.
