    Hot Wasabi Brat

In this segment we take big swings at recipes that could either be amazing or disgusting! Today we are taking a horseradish flavored brat and adding Wasabi Powder and Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Wasabi Garnishing Squeeze.

    Ingredients

    Pork
    Wasabi Powder
Terrapin Ridge Farms Hot Wasabi Garnishing Squeeze
    Excalibur Horseradish Seasoning

    Utensils Needed

    Meat Grinder
    Sausage Stuffer
    Grill/Smoker or Oven

    Instructions

Follow the normal process for making a bratwurst but add Excalibur Horseradish Seasoning, wasabi powder (one teaspoon per pound of meat) and the Terrapin Ridge Hot Wasabi Garnishing Squeeze to the meat and mix thoroughly before stuffing.

Disaster rating: 1-10 where 10 is the worst

“This was not a disaster at all!!!” said Jonathon. This would be a 1 on the scale because Jonathon and Austin actually liked it. If you are a fan of horseradish this is a brat flavor you should try!!!

Sounds great but, my sinuses are clear enough. No sweating here.
Why does Wasabi always remind me of Kemosabe? Hmm…

ND Mike Speaking of liking the burn, once we were in New Orleans hammering some oysters. There was this little silver container on the table, someone wasn’t paying attention and they took a spoonful and ate it. Turns out it was pure horseradish. BOW HOWDY talk about that burn through the nose!!!

Yeah we are going to be doing more of these style videos again in the new year. 2019-2021 was a lot of work work and we are super busy right now but I honestly believe we are on the edge of being much smoother in here. JohnG5 is helping a lot as is the other new Web employee and we foresee some website things that have been killing us taking far less time going forward. That should free us up to do more fun videos and more instructional Meatgistics University videos as well!
