There’s just something not right about me having to chip the ice and snow off my Primo Grill before I can cook. This is south Texas. And the wind chill is -6’F. Who even invented -6"F? So much for global warming…

Chef i do feel bad for you folks down south, even though i am definitely tired of it and so ready for spring we are used to those temps. Its been in the negatives for two weeks now. For you it must feel like -50. Where we are actually supposed to be -30°to-40° wind chill right now and yes its damn cold but like i said its not as much of as a shock to us. Now your 100° and 95% humidity will kill me down there. 80° is too darn hot for me up here. I have been smoking in -15° the last two weekends, only with an undershirt and a hoodie. Stay warm my friend

twilliams Truth is, I’ll take this over the 95 to 105 'F any day. Nice change of pace.

twilliams Wow, I’m about to get busy clearing my driveway. Its over 100 yards, but we only got about 10 to 12 inches from this last system. Thank God for snow blowers and 4 wheelers.

Jonathon Our infrastructure just was not designed to handle this. Overpasses are our hardest hit. Powerlines out in most places. And to the green new deal, well, the windmills froze and so they are not working. Thank God for natural gas.

Jonathon id love to come to witchita in the spring for your tornado season. I am absolutely obsessed with them. Wanna capture great photos. They are rare where i live and have only seen one in real life. However i dont wish destruction and death or injury on anyone for my obsession

Might be a ice fishing tournament 😜, guy in PA caught a 4.02lb. 20" crappie recently, just shy of the state record!!

Okay, we just got power back, I do have a wood burning stove, so warmed the house and cooked inside. Everything is ice. I’m better off than most of Texas. Some have no means of warmth and been without power for 2 days. Feeding whoever I can and giving them a place to warm up. It’s a real learning opportunity for Texas and the rest of the nation to wake up about our grid. Way out of date and we can’t solve it with pipe dreams.
