    deanlorensen - I just opened a bottle and they are still crunchy and sweet. Not sure what the issue is.Bob probably hit it on the head. Cook time has to right

        bocephus agreed, its that or temps are too high during the cook. It also helps to make sure you are using fresh and firm jalapenos. I made a batch that half of the peppers sat a few days before I got to them and the other half were just off of the vine. There was a big difference in the firmness of the final product.

          The cowboy candy juice is great in wilted/sautéed greens.

              lkrfletcher my batch from last year never mellowed. They are great tasting, but my Jalapenos were the hottest I’ve ever grown. This year they are a nice medium heat. I gifted a lot of last years to some friends who liked crazy hot.20210816_204908.jpg
