GWG8541 IMG_1108.jpg Had to try some pickled eggs. I cold smoked them for a couple hrs first and them packed them. Hardest part will be the wait for a week to try them!

RON PARRISH oh man that looks great. My son was asking why I haven’t done any lately. This post may get me motivated to do them soon. I add beets to mine and the juice so they won’t be as pretty as your’s, but those beets go great with the eggs for a snack.

RON PARRISH is there a particular wood flavor you prefer to smoke eggs with? All I’ve done is Hickory, I need to branch out and see how other woods would taste.

We are going to have to deduct style points for that pin feather in the ankle of the one drum stick, though. 😉

RON PARRISH I’ve been smoking and pickling eggs for awhile. They are an awesome snack or get a few and make a meal out of them. I’ve never added Jalapenos, but I may have to after seeing those pictures.

processhead I guess I better just turn in my Meatgistics credentials and head to McDonalds and see if they need a fry cook, that feather is unacceptable. 🙂

Tex_77 Maybe thats really not a feather. Since that part of the leg is like a handle, maybe its a cross guard or pommel. I’d still eat them, feathers and all.
