calldoctoday Pearl beer, I can remember that along with Lonestar. Two beers made in San Antonio. When we were there when I was little they took us to both breweries for tours all the time. I think my dad just went for the free beer. I can remember the hall of horns at the Lonestar brewery.

johnsbrewhouse drank Pearl at the dive bar on the Texas side of the Red River when we were too young to know better. Carling’s Black Label was the beer of choice on the non pay weeks

YooperDog I forgot about that one, but remember it now. I need to get my sone to take a picture of that bottle of Burgermeister I still have. I don’t know how I have kept it all these years.

Here’s one that many of you may not have heard of since it was a brand from the Pacific Northwest and cheap, Lucky Lager. You would pop the cap and there was always a puzzle on them to figure out.

Two of my buds (Rose and Chuck) brought me back some goodies on their trip through Bardstown, KY. They also bought about 6 bottles and 5 used bourbon barrels for themselves. Nice having friends like this.20220125_150214.jpg

PapaSop I started to ask if zbigjeff needed any more of those, maybe I could trade some for used bourbon barrels. I am happy to make my bourbon in once used barrels, even if I am breaking the rules.
