kyle Isn’t it amazing how much smarter your Dad is when you don’t have him anymore. It’s been 15 years and I still miss his advice. He didn’t say alot, but when he talked it was worth listen.

You can find several free photo compression apps in the app store for iphone or google play store for android. It is better than screen shooting or emailing your pictures to yourself. It takes like 30 seconds.

I email the pics to my self and when I press send it asks me what size I want to send and I select medium. Then I just post everything from my computer.

Grimpuppy Looks like you’re all stocked up for winter. Didn’t realize there were apps for compressing photos. I’ll have to check on some. Thanks.

wdaly I realized my was pretty smart and wanted my best interest after I moved 1200 miles away, luckily I made it home twice a year to see my parents before they passed. Still miss them, especially my dad this time of year because deer hunting is coming.

Testing out the new photo compression app that I downloaded.

That works slick…thanks Grimpuppy!

The “post quick reply” doesn’t let you add pics, you have to use the reply button on top

-
Click the blue reply button at the top right of the page. When the text entry box opens up click on the upload image icon on the top right-hand side above the text box. Choose your file and your picture should load. Then click on the submit button on the top right.

blackbetty61 it is for Android and called Compress Photo Puma. There are a tonnof different ones. I just picked this one because it had good reviews. It is really easy to use too. Click the picture button in Meatgistics and then one of the choices to pull pictures from is the compression app. No more screenshots. You have to grant access for the app to have your pictures.
Thanks for the comment about the food!

ND Mike downloaded this app. And got a question. When I click on the picture icon I have two choices capture image and Files. If I click files I have the android file system that showes camera, screenshot, others and PUMA. Are you saying you have to already have compressed the photo with puma before trying to add it to your post or is there a way to compress it from the original while your posting? If I’m not being clear let me know.

samspade allow puma access to you camera and photos first. After you clicked the photo icon in meatgistics click files and then click puma. Then you can select what photo or photos you want to upload.
