One last hurrah for the pulled pork in this burrito. Time to portion it out, vac it up, and freeze what’s left.

guests don’t seem to understand what a stall is, and why it delays dinnerjulian They don’t make guests like they used to where they would come over hours early, help work, help cook, have a little something extra, then eat with no squawking about when things will be done, etc. Its eat & go a lot now a days. Real sad. That is really looking good so far. Be careful about retaining the moisture when you go for the final onslaught & wishing you Great Eating & Entertaining.

cdavis You better hurry or that’s not going to make it to the table. I remember when we used to fry out a lot for guests & family & if I was frying Crappy, when my Dad was alive he would stand out there by the fryer & grab a few of those Crappies like candy when they went into the bin like that before going inside. That is a great idea using that Chicken on the Run too.

I’ve been out of cell range camping for a few days and will be heading back again after a few days at work. These picks were from the campground a few days ago. I started off Saturday morning with Walton’s Southern Style sausage and 2 over easy.

Later in the day I made a batch of campfire chili by browning 2 lbs of ground Bison with garden onions, garlic, home canned tomato juice and put them in my CI kettle on the tripod over the fire all afternoon.

Topped off with a Leinenkugel’s collaboration beer made from German malts and American hops. Its a pretty tasty Lager and a little made it into the chili.
