Dadgum it Joe Hell!! I had to go look up ‘buckboard bacon’, WOW!!! Interesting. Thoughtful and I’m going to try it. Came across a recipe from ‘Old Fat Guy’ that I thought I would give a whirl. Might take some pictures, too.

KansasDad I think that’s the recipe that I used but I can’t say for sure. I wish I could remember who on the board first suggested this type of bacon

PapaSop good looking grilled wings! That even looks like a WI beer!!! I only drink spotted cow when I am in WI.

deplorablenc1 It is! I’m twenty minutes from the brewery. I think you drink Spotted Cow here is because it’s the only place you can. Also one of my favorites.

How was the taste of that compared to the belly meat? I know pork is pork. Just curious. Looks great!

PapaSop I’ll have to get back to you on that. I only had a couple pieces the other day. It seemed like it was possibly a bit more tender than belly bacon. I’ll have to conduct more research soon!
