JoeB I have lost track how many DZ’s I have been over, but doing the basic jump schoolhouse lifts were always an eye opener. There would be no way in h3ll you could keep me from taking that static line ride after going through all that work to get there and then the training there. I am happy to report that I never lost one. Had some big boys with lots of gear going out low get barely one swing get some injuries over the years. Always a sick feeling after calling Red light and still hearing the stick go out. Lots of places,lots of memories.

YooperDog Thanks, spent way too much time in places (as you) that others choose not to be… . Gives me a much better appreciation for life and this country… Well you are one up. No Flight helmet, but i do have everlasting rib marks and airborne knees from in flight jumps. At the end of the mantel is a ww1 Doughboy helmet
JoeB that Doughboy helmet is a pretty nice piece of history. Makes one wonder about the stories a piece of history could tell. I have tipped a few with some foreign national troops, there is some sort of strange need to be the last one standing for country or service pride. Even if you win victory isn’t so sweet come daylight. And as you know there is some strange hooch out there.

While assisting a bud clean some albums from a flood, I brought over some cheer to help the situation. Both were very smooth even though they were a bit higher proof. The Chattanooga is not filtered and the Bow is filtered.

Mainly Portugal but a couple days in Spain. Both nice, but Portugal has been a blast.
