Stuffer Tube Compatibilities

Measure the end that connects to the stuffer on one of your tubes, if that is the same size as waltons it should fit. One concern is how your stuffer will handle the pressure caused by using the smaller tube, it could cause problems at the o-ring on your stuffer.

I have that tube. The f.l.a,n.g.e is 2 1/16” o.d. The 16 mm casing will slide onto it. I use it on a 5 pound stuffer with an adapter, and it is a bear if your mixture isn’t pretty moist. I use the 3/8” for 16 mm most of the time. You have to manually feed the casing onto a 3/8” tube as it won’t slide on while they are compressed in a strand. My 5 pound stuffer handles the 3/8” pretty easy.

Yeah, someone in customer service should be able to give you the diameter of the [censored] on the Walton funnel. Even if the Walton funnel was larger than the LEM, it wouldn’t be too difficult to grind the edge down to match the LEM [censored] size.

Thank you everyone for the replies! Much appreciated! With your information and what I received from Walton’s Customer Service (Thanks Lori!), here’s what I learned. My LEM tubes measure 2 11/64" in diameter. That’s 3/64th" larger in diameter larger than Walton’s tubes. That’s 3/128th" on each side of the (part that cannot be named- that’s funny!) flang*e, which is miniscule, and probably within manufacturing tolerances. Therefore, I’m going to order the 10mm and 12mm Walton’s tubes and give it a go!

Grimpuppy Thanks for the pic! To make sure I understand, when you say “I have that tube.”, you mean the Walton’s 10mm SS Stuffing Tube: SKU: 670866? That is the tube in your photo?

Yes, I bought it at the Walton’s retail store.
Hope it comes in soon for you. I have a knife that has been on backorder for two months. BTW, that would be a nice feature for the new website. To be able to see what we have pending on backorder and an expected receiving date.

FYI I was meeting with brett the other day and we were talking about stock-out reports and with seasoning we are still running around 99.5% fulfillment, it is equipment that has hurt us this past year. We also talked about Victornix being fairly far behind on orders, so I was wondering if it was one of those knives?

FYI I was meeting with brett the other day and we were talking about stock-out reports and with seasoning we are still running around 99.5% fulfillment, it is equipment that has hurt us this past year. We also talked about Victornix being fairly far behind on orders, so I was wondering if it was one of those knives?

I have a LEM BIG BITE DUAL GEAR 10 LB. SAUSAGE STUFFER and want to make smaller Snack Stix. The smallest horn LEM makes for that stuffer is 16mm or 5/8".
Does anyone know if you can use the Walton’s horns, specifically the Walton’s 10mm SS Stuffing Tube: SKU: 670866 , on my LEM Stuffer?

Should that be milliliters instead of mg? I did a #5 batch last night used 7 ounces of water which is about 200 ML. Used my 10mm tube and it stuffed like a dream. As a note, smaller stuffers with smaller pistons with handle the smaller tubes much better than larger diameter piston stuffers will.

100 mg of water is a very small amount. -

Grimpuppy g and ml water weight are the same in “water” volume vs weight. i use a metric scale to weigh mg water weight. you may be much happier to do all metric weight. More precise and easier to work with when your scaling recipes. I follow the mixer instructions. If you wait too long after the mix it will turn into cement… Very hard to stuff. Just for facts: Most commercially processed meats / Deli have as much as 50% water batched in. That $10 a pound deli ham cold cut is $5 water / $5 meat . That’s why it turns slimy after a few days. The additives give out and the water starts to escape

200,000 MG water = 200 ML which equals 7 oz.

Grimpuppy ok I think I see the problem. 100g for 1 kg of batch 1kg= apx 2.22lbs. I am so sorry. I gave you the incorrect information. 100ml of water= 100grams by weight. It was totally an oversight on my part. When I do a batch of 1kg I add 100grams water by weight. I make no excuse. Just oversight. Here is one of typical recipes converted fm Chef’s 60lbs:
