Beautiful buck. Any deer harvested with a bow is a trophy, but he is indeed a stud.

twilliams after seeing your beautiful buck I had to brag on my 11 year old son. I just finished mounting his 2 bucks from this last season and his first turkey. His feet still haven’t touched the ground. Screenshot_20210421-044546_Gallery.jpg

twilliams that’s a hell of a deer, where are you at? We have some nice bucks in NY but not many that nice around me because there’s so many hunters in my area… I shot my first bow buck last year just a small 10 but I’m more of a meat shooter anyways lol

twilliams that is a toad!!! What a deer! I hunt for nothing but horns. My best on the wall scored 156. I pass on anything smaller than that since that is my mark now. That may change now. It is hard to get a buck tag here some years. If I want to mess around making sausage I may have to not be so picky and quit eating tag soup!!! This past year I shot a buck that I never would’ve have shot. He was wounded in one of his back lower legs so I put him down. I actually felt good about burning my tag on him.

Definitely nice! I’m not used to possibly not getting a buck tag, we get 1 every year plus an either sex for bow then up to 4 doe tags for regular season and 1 doe for bow/muzzleloader… many years my father and I tagged out and made tons of good stuff

RJ Adventures we use to be able to get unlimited doe tags back in the early 2000s. Our Game and Fish was trying to aggressively control the population. Then about 4 really bad winters hit and decimated the population. It has been a slow increase since then. One year between my my Dad, myself, and my two brothers we had over 20 deer tags. My youngest brother shot 8 does with a muzzleloader! Those were the good old days of deer hunting.
