Tex_77 Never heard of that one (John J Bowman). Hopefully, it’s good for YOU.
-
zbigjeff it’s the best, it was free! But in all seriousness it good.
-
Picked this up today. Started shipping this about a year ago.

Actually pretty tasty and quite smooth. May be a keeper.

I’m a Glenfiddich single malt guy. When it’s hot a tanqueray and diet dew brings out the hillbilly in me. Then there is my barrel aged Manhattan. A good old fashioned is hard to beat too. Quit drinking beer when I turned 21…

smokinbubba lol! I’ll often drink diet dew and vodka or tequila and refer to it as my redneck margarita. I knew a guy that used to drink gin and cola…I thought it was a revolting idea until I started making gin. It’s essentially the same ingredients!

Gin and cola… wish I could stand diet cola but have not yet found one. Have to limit sugar so regular is out too.

smokinbubba Everyone has their “preferences”. That’s what makes the world go round. But, I’m the person when we can go into a “bar or similar place” again that they always have to ask “what are you drinking tonight?”. Almost everyone else has their “goto”. But, it depends on the day for me because I can order just about anything depending the wind direction (scotch, bourbon, wine, beer, etc). Keep having fun with your taste buds with a little doctor advise.

Yeah George Thorogood did a popular cover of the tune. The original goes back further than that though.

A lot of blues songs were originally written and performed by obscure performers. Only made famous years later by others. This one written in 1953 by Rudy Toombs and performed by Amos Milburn.

smokinbubba I had a buddy that would drink gin and cola and I thought he was crazy. Years later I started making both cola and gin from scratch. The ingredient list is remarkably similar. They were made for each other. My favorite sugar free cola is Coke Zero. I think I’ll go to the kitchen and prepare said beverage!

Since I’m working from the basement, I thought I’d share.

Tex_77 lol notice that are all almost empty? I dont drink enough to bother replacing them really.

Ok, now name who wrote the tune.processhead George T. It’s a classic from the late 70’s by the destroyers. Still relevant today. The previous was by Amos in the 60’s. But, I would think the origins go back into the 40’s for the actual original. People back then really knew how to write songs.

I’ve heard that song so many times. Never knew the origin… Thanks. -
Jonathon s request, please list your drink of choice. I’ll start, I love bourbon and Coors Light or a good old Coors yellow belly. My bourbons of choice are Elijah Craig, Bulliet, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam Black and W.L. Wellers. Now if I just want to pound down some drinks a good 7&7 can’t be beat.

Joe Hell Toasting a new Scotch (to me: Monkey Shoulder from Speyside Single Malt) to the Negroni while designing the next batch of Polish and Italian for a bud and updating a website. Took at break from the bevy of bourbon. Nice sipping whiskey.
