Tex_77 I’d Buy it and keep it, but you could buy it and make 10x your money reselling it.

Does anyone know, can a grinder attachment be added to this?

Tex_77 Some quick searches and I doubt you will find a grinder attachment, but as Johnathan pointed out I think you can process the meat with the cutter to get the consistency you would with a grinder. Instead of using a plate for the particle size I’m guessing processing time would dictate size/consistency. I have always wanted one after having to manually chop 60 butts for a fund raiser. It would make cured sausage easy too. I’m telling ya I would buy one for a $100 today if I found one. Those people clearly have no idea what they have.

This is the first one that came up on my search. Mind that price tag.

Tex_77 Yeah there isn’t an attachment that will turn this into a traditional “grinder” but you can use it as such. Okay, I think we have enough people on here now that either have or have interest in a buffalo chopper that it is time for a meatgistics university: Meat Processing Equipment video/article. Give me a week and I will try to get it done, edited and live. Luckily for you my interest has been piqued and I BADLY need a break from what I have been doing.

Tex_77 Ok, I could be wrong on the grinder attachment actually https://www.[link removed]/itm/Meat-Chopper-Grinder-attachment-for-Hobart-Buffalo-Chopper-84185-84186-/151085167984 it appears that they make some attachments where the blades and the arm they are locked on are removed and a grinder head assembly (including auger) slide into place. I can’t find a video or pic of this actually happening though, just the attachment above.

lkrfletcher Yeah, I was wanting to find a video that shows the attachment that is being sold on ebay above (which was removed) that is the head assembly but connect to the motor fo the chopper…seems like it might not be necessary as the blades will get your meat as emulsified as you want but it might be worth the cost of the attachment.

Tex_77 Should have taken a swing for $100… the grinder head is usually on the left side and there would be an “L” off the end where the grinder head would attach. This model doesn’t have it.

Parksider I swung just not soon enough. I asked my friend who runs a catering business, and has worked at some very high end hotels if I needed one, and he said no, so that made me hesitant to pull the trigger. You win some, and you lose some.
