@s-a-m well…Its cake flavor…and it’s from the land of “cheese eating surrender monkeys”. we use to keep Stoly in the freezer with frozen glasses and drink the hell out of it. that is when I had control over what was in the refrigerator and freezer. Before they became the eminent domain of “The Queen”

Hey Jonathon just a quick note. I didn’t receive any spices when I received my 11lb. Sausage Stuffer. I can relate to the Blue Team making mistakes! Did you remember your syrup?? Just asking…

kathy cross At these uncertain times all aid to the team that has caused the spread of corona virus Team-Orange has been cutoff. That is probably why you didn’t receive what you were looking for.

Tex_77 There is no way I could narrow it down to a favorite. If the booze has color I’ll drink it neat. Clear spirts such as vodka or gin call for soda water or tonic and some citrus. I like to keep it simple and chase all of the above with a good craft beer…especially IPA.

I’m currently avoiding booze in preparation for a trip to Vegas soon. My liver thanks me.

Long week. Quick stop at the store after work. A couple of rib-eyes, box of beer and a bottle of Makers. Settling in for another weekend home bound. Maybe pics, maybe not. Makers on the rocks tasting good. Just saying. Cheers!

@s-a-m 68’ Buick Skylark…original motor was a 350 2bbl…long story short, it now has a 340 4bbl from a Wildcat from 66’. I got it from my great grandmother nearly 30 years ago. It’s sitting around 98k miles currently. It needs some (much) work but overall it’s been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned!

Joe Hell It is absolutely gorgeous man! Now you need two asian brothers who learned english from howard cossel to race against, a paperboy who stalks your for $2, a new french girlfriend and a rival to beat in a ski race! I know it wasn’t a Skylark in Better Off Dead but the before and after picture reminded me of that!

Jonathon s request, please list your drink of choice. I’ll start, I love bourbon and Coors Light or a good old Coors yellow belly. My bourbons of choice are Elijah Craig, Bulliet, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam Black and W.L. Wellers. Now if I just want to pound down some drinks a good 7&7 can’t be beat.

Tex_77 Tonight I teamed up with a local cider place to make some cider based brats to sell at Butcher Butcher Walla Walla to help promote both business’ in these trying times. For inspiration I thought I’d make a cocktail using their Hibiscus Cider and a Negroni based drink seemed like the perfect catalyst.

For my recipe I used 2 oz. Aviation Gin, 1 oz. Noilly Prat Rouge Vermouth, 1 oz. Campari, and 4 oz. of the delicious Hibiscus Cider from ‘The Locust’ in downtown Walla Walla. The company has several locations in the western states so product is available. I highly recommend these guys and proceeds go to a worthy cause!
