Tex_77 I dont know what an accusharp is so I will confidently say yes! It’s just a handle with two sharp pieces of metal that form a v for you to drag your knife through. Probably not the best thing long term but it works well for a quick shaprening

Jonathon Whew Wee, Let’s see what we got in there! It was Deeeeeelicious! Definitely some Andouille Sausauge in there, A whole Chicken, Chicken Bone Broth, I could not help but to through a few oysters & shrimps in there, even though it is supposed to be my middle of the Winter gumbo. Then there is that ol Roux, a whole head of celery, a few sweet & Bermuda onions, some bell peppers the colored ones & the green ones, some fresh frozen Cayenne peppers, some smoked dried Cayenne peppers (gotta have them peppers), Then I am sure I must have left out a few spices or something. That ant nothing though. Our oldest son is getting married next weekend (they lost the cruise) & I have got to cook for the crowds, several briskets, a bunch of ribs, a whole lot of beans, & potato salad (I can not find Mrs. Crockett’s Potato Salad anymore so I have not figured that out yet). Have a great week, Dave

Jonathon Jonathon, Yes, I have used bay scallops in a seafood gumbo I am certain when I could not get the oysters I prefer & I believe maybe even when I just wanted a little something extra. I seem to recall that they were good. You can add them more towards the end like the shrimps, but cook them a little longer than the shrimps & less than the oysters. Dave

Tex_77 Yum! I bought some asparagus the other day…I might have to try that! The weather here yesterday was odd as well. It’s been warm and sunny and then yesterday it was cold, windy, sunny, rainy and we had at least 4 hail storms. I broke out my Pendleton version of a Carhart jacket today. It was warm when the sun was out but again we had several windy/rainy spells. Btw…nice blender!!!

Tex_77 It was 70 here on Monday and 30 this morning when I came into to work to work out (thank god we have a weight room here) and it was freezing rain when I came back in it was even worse if that is possible! Good weekend for hunkering down and watching everyone’s favorite tiger owning carol baskins hating maniac! Just kidding, I finished Tiger King almost immediately!

Out of curiosity…how do people feel about the whole I want Tigers thing? When he was talking to the news and said it would “be worse than Waco” if the government ever tried to come to get his Tigers…that was poorly phrased but I border on libertarian or maybe a better way of saying it is I am EXTREMELY opposed to authoritarianism. I grew up in New York, the land of a million regulations! Parksider am I right on that or have I created a false narrative in my head about the NYS government?

Jonathon I have not started watching Tiger King yet, but it is on the to do list for this weekend. I just got “The Ranch” finished up so it’s time for something new. I’m a little disappointed you didn’t show me the weight room when I was there. Next thing you are going to tell me is you have a weapons bunker there as well for all of Austin 's firearms, and you forgot to show me the employee open bar!
