@texlaw I am going to do just that. Our curly kale has already bit the dust, just for this year. Got several gallon bags frozen though, several gallons dehydrated into kale chips, & two nice pearl barley, kale, & pork roast dinners, so I cannot complain though.

@tex_77 Nothing like having the “inner tract”. Love it. It’s cool when the admin wants to have a little fun. Been there, done that!! Then, someone like the pres gets word of it, laughs a bit and then before they say “stop”, it’s already back to normal. Just makes me smile.

Mine are still active this morning, have had no problems so far.

Hopefully, no one will read the title of this thread and think this would be safe to use in a smoker to catch dripping grease from a brisket or butt. It doesn’t look like it would hold up under high temps unless its made of silicone .

@jonathon thx so much for your efforts on this! Good to know, I love the willies seasoning, and did want to try some ECA with it, without worries Id have a batch with bad texture. Sounds like my no msg package will be perfect then!

@processhead according to the NodeBB guys they reviewed it for other possible filters when we pointed out this one, but who knows, if we find any please let me know! Also, I FINALLY am getting caught back up as is evidenced by the fact I just got to spend the last 30 minutes answering older posts. Now, I just need to get my email inbox cleared and it can almost go back to the old days where I can at least read everything posted on here! @JustinT Is up and running on social media and is doing things himself already, website is in a good place and I have interesting videos to make again! The last 2 real videos we did, Spice Lined Casings and Weisswurst sort of highlighted how much better videos we can make now so hopefully we will have a bunch of fresh content coming out in the coming months!

@bocephus I’m going to be doing another round of Berkshire hog bacon coming up in the next week or so. A friend has another hog that he told me he was butchering and wished I’d make him some bacon like last time. Well, why not! @Jonathon How may I add Waltons seasonings to aid the flavors in my bacon? @kyle wow yall have a short growing season. I usually get in a fall garden also. If I get bit by a late frost I have time to recover. Yall have to get it right the first time. Good luck and good growing
