Walton #26 Stuffer - When the Plate is half down the Cylinder is forced to an AngleWe resolved our problem by placing a 6" long 2x4 block with 1/8 inch felt on top of it to fill the gap between the cylinder and the base. We had no issues with the cylinder tipping this past season

Walton #26 Stuffer - When the Plate is half down the Cylinder is forced to an Angles.a.m , Great question. Since our stuffing team is right handed crankers we have not tested this theory. Plus we would have to redesign our process line layout to convert it to left hand. Our other stuffer is an 1993 F.Dick and it is rock solid. But is like comparing a Rolex to a Timex.

The rack m rolled just fine and is straight. The pins on sides are tight. Just need to figure out how to load my photos to send you.

I will take a few photos tonight of the top braces. I even tried to create a pin to drop in the brace, in front to the metal stud to keep it in place but each design was not strong enough. -
Walton #26 Stuffer - When the Plate is half down the Cylinder is forced to an AngleWe have used the Walton #26 stuffer for two season now with over 1,000 lbs pushed through it. Our issue is, when the plate gets to the half way point or below, the cylinder starts to tilt backwards. The springs that help hold the cylinder vertical are not strong enough to keep it in a locked vertical position. As a workaround, the person stuffing has to apply downward press on the stuffing tube to keep it in place.
Is there a better way of locking the stuffer in place?
