The wife just left the new cosco in duluth mn. They opened yesterday and we had never been to one. Anyway, pork belly was $3.99 a pound.

kyle same here. I just left COSTCO and bellies are about 40 cents a pound cheaper than my last visit. Their name brand bacon actually went up about 10 cents a pound. At one time their bacon was less than the bellies.

HerbcoFood I’m looking forward to checking it out, not sure the wallet is tho. I tend to go overboard when shopping at a place like that

Dr_Pain I have both. I like Sams better for most items we buy, but I picked up a COSTCO membership last year at a half price special. For us, if I had to chose I’d stay with Sams, but both are nice. I have the Plus with Sams and get cash back there. I only have the basic a Costco because they are a lot further away.

My local grocery has Duroc half bellies for $4.99/lb. At that sort of pricing I just stick to Wright Brand bacon from Sam’s Club which is WAY better than the Costco bacon.

The one and only Sams Club on Long Island while close to me is also not very good. Costco and BJ’s are all over the place here. We have 3 Costcos within 10 miles of each other and the same with BJ’s. I’m a member of Costco & BJ’s. While both are very similar there are enough differences to warrant both memberships.
