Anyone have the processer’s recipe for these products. Both are local favorites in Buffalo, Western NY area. Got the main build, but the added flavors are a puzzle. Tried several times, but just missing something. Thanks

Jonathon Thanks for your attention. Left is a local polish sausage. Not white, both wrappers are empty. Right is a local hotdog. I kept the wrappers because they had the main build, but as usual there is the “and natural flavorings” I’ve come close but still missing something. I thought someone might have a knock-off copycat recipe. These are both very popular area foods, and around for decades.

I think our best bet here would be Parksider but hes been failt busy lately. He used to be in the Rochester area and he is well versed in the sausage of that region. Hopefully he see this. There is also uhave2lovemeat and gus4416 Redneck Vet and scott farm

Well it is a Buffalo thing, but the Sahlen’s hotdogs around since 1869 are known for suppling Ted’s hotdog’s that started a vending stand around 1950 under the Buffalo Peace Bridge to Canada. They’re pretty well known even a few times on the food channel drive arounds… Syracuse is may be a little far away . Thanks
