I have a waring chamber vacuum sealer I love it took some getting use to . I Have had 4-5 food saver sealers the sealers were not that bad but the price of the bags was a killer and availability . The difference between a regular sealer and a chamber sealer is like black and white. So much to list how long you can seal the price of bags the quality of the seal time after time I could go on and on my chamber sealer the chamber is not that big they say you can seal up to an 11’’ bag but I can seal up to a 13 1/2 ‘’ Bag. the Vac Master I think is probably top of the line but for the price the waring is a great machine. I have two things I wish it had though is one a place to wrap the cord second is that it did not run as long just to make a bag but I use a old $99 dollar food saver to make my bags and save wear and tare on my chamber sealer.

Larry Macaluso Thank-you for your information. I have a food saver backup and run a Weston 2300. Just looking at the pluses for a VAC chamber And more importantly the best one for the money. Your insight would be appreciated. Thanks. Joe

undefined Jonathon undefined and Austin, Firstly, I hope you are both feeling better after Covid. Secondly, I thought Waltons had their branded chamber vac out around Christmas? Or was I drunk? Much like PapaSop, I am pulling the trigger on a chamber vac soon. Of course, I’m being a loyal Team-Orange guy, especially since Orange is all over this Company’s web presence… John… I’ll be getting a Walton’s from well… Walton’s.

PapaSop which chamber are you considering? My Weston 2300 is getting a little iffy from time to time. so i’m looking to upgrade. Would like your thought on the vac chambers. Thanks… Joe

I have been looking to purchase a P200 Multivac chamber machine. Has anyone had experience with this machine? I do know it is a little more expensive. I don’t want to regret my purchase and wish I bought a different machine.

I don’t believe it is available in the US. It is a commercial machine. I am very happy with my VacMaster VP215. I researched a lot of chamber sealers. I chose the VP215 because it fit my needs and the chamber size, It is 1" taller than most models inside. Once you start getting into the larger capacity machines, their weights really go up as well. The VP215 weighs in at 84 pounds and the VP 320 weighs in at 220 lbs. You really need to look at what you are going to use it for. You will find the majority of the machines out there are all now made in China. The one you are looking at is made in Germany.

JoeB None of the small machines will accommodate quarts standing upright. I have 5" from floor to top, it will hold 3 quarts lying on their sides at on time

JoeB They would have to have enough clearance inside to fit the jar. A quart narrow lid Ball brand jar with band is just over 7" tall, so you would need over 7" of clearance inside to fit a quart. Most of the lids on the machines are doomed and the floors have ribs, so the jars don’t sit flat either. Have not tried mine with ball jars yet.
