Yup, same here. I can see part of the message, and when I click on it, it just takes me into the app. I don’t see a way to view the rest of the notification. Or any way to see notification info in the app. Thankfully I was able to track part of it down through Android’s notification history. But I’m still not 100% sure what the code is good for. ??? I’ve noticed this with the couple other times I’ve gotten push notifications from the Meatgistics app.

Yep, same thing happened on 12/21 with the discount code. App shows no notifications. And then the 12/21 code provided during the livestream didn’t work in my cart either.

Okay it is meatgistics21 and it will get you $10 off of an order of $50 or more. We will go back to drawing board with how we send these messages. I am not giving up on that though. I really like the idea of being able to send out specials through that app!

I like the idea of the notifications Jonathon. We’ll get there! FWIW, here’s how the notification came across for me (both times). There didn’t seem to be a way to expand the notification or otherwise see the full text of it.

I love the idea of specials to your “fan” base through an app. The only issue I have is your leaving out a large segment of your followers by not having an IOS app.

John Belvedere We will absolutely have an IOS version of it. I switched from an iPhone to an android for work and lets just say it hasn’t been great. iPhone all day long. I had 2 phones in 5 years with and iphone and never had a real issue. I have switched phones 4 times already in 4 months. Now, one of those was because I dropped it but still not a fan of the pixel 4, pixel 4a or the pixel xl

Jonathon Want a good Android, get a Kyocera. It’s made in Japan, bullet proof. military grade, has a sapphire cover that is scratch resistant and then add a good case to cover the case. You won’t have to worry about dropping it or breaking it. The only thing I have broken on mine is the case clip, it catches on chair arms if you hang it in your pants pocket. Mines has been dropped numerous times, no cracked screen yet.

Interesting. I was going to say you probably don’t like Android because you had a crappy Android. But a Pixel? I love my Pixel 3. Pixel 4 was a hard pass though… it was like a public beta product with it’s Soli radar system and terrible battery life. The 4a should have been better. I’m definitely not on the Samsung bandwagon though.

I’m glad to see other people had the notification vanish. I thought I just didn’t know how to use my phone and my teenage son was not home to help me
